Huntsville Police respond to shooting on Seminole Drive

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Police responded to a shooting on Seminole Drive at Brahan around 9:30 a.m. Friday.

Officers were on scene several minutes after a shots fired call to look for the victim.

Witnesses told police someone fired gunshots at two men in the area and that one of them was shot in the leg.

"I was in the building. We heard the gunfire and saw a man run across the street," said Annette Prestige, who made the initial 911 call.

Authorities searched the are for the victim ad learned that he had been taken to the emergency room in a private vehicle. Officers spoke with the victim at the hospital. According to police, the victim refused to cooperate and would not provide further information to officers.

No arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate.
