FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -

Fashion, music and culture came together for an all-star showdown in the Shoals.

The first ever Red Rhythm Runway was held Saturday night in Florence at the Marriott Shoals & Spa Conference Center.

Proceeds from the event will go directly to the AIDS Action Coalition, which helps treat people in northwest Alabama.

"First of all, we were surprised that no one has ever done this before, so we're looking forward to putting something together that's basically going to be setting precedent for. It's all-star music, all-star designers. It's an all-star show," said show director Keith Sims.

WAFF 48 Shoals reporter Marie Waxel was master of ceremonies for the event.
