BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -

There was a true magic moment today for a little girl from Birmingham.

Five-year-old Ceanna Ware is battling sickle-cell disease.

She has already started her Christmas wish list and on the top was a playhouse. Thursday, the Greek Food Festival partnered with Magic Moments to make that wish come true. During today's festivities, Ceanna was surprised with her own playhouse.

Family members say it's a nice distraction from the bad days in the hospital.

"I think it will mean a lot to her because like I said she's five so when she's having a good day she'll be able to go in. Have a good time and you know when she's having bad days and want to go in her playhouse…it will mean a whole lot to her," Natalie Jones, Ceanna's aunt, said.

Magic Moments is a non-profit organization that makes lifelong dreams come true for critically-ill children.
