HARVEST, AL (WAFF) -

A man made a stop at a fast food restaurant. But instead of fast food, he was craving some fast cash.

You can see a crook with a gun on surveillance video backing the manager of the McDonald's on Highway 53 in Harvest into the back office.

This happened early in the morning of July 2nd.

Once they got into that office, the robber forced the manager to open the safe.

As the manager kneels down in the dark room, the robber pressed the gun to the manager's back, even pointed it at his head at times. Can you imagine the sheer terror that manager must have been feeling at this point?

Once the robber got the bags of money from him, that gunman disappeared into the darkness.

We're only able to see a lot of shadows and outlines in the surveillance video. In fact, police said this guy was covered from head to toe in black clothing, even covering his face with a mask.

So we can't catch him the traditional way.

But crooks love to commit crime, and they also love to talk about it. And if he's talked to you, police want you to talk to them.
