PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) -

Marcus Beard, 19, of Phenix City, has been found guilty of Attempted Murder by a Lee County jury, and now faces 20 years in prison.

Prosecutors say Marcus Beard, along with two other suspects, broke into a home along Lee Road 117 in November of last year, and began firing at the homeowner.

Beard, and the two other suspects who await their trial, stole a shotgun, several swords, and other items before fleeing from the home on foot.
