COLBERT COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

The family of a Colbert County woman who was brutally murdered spoke out about a parole hearing for one of the accomplices.

All three co-defendants pleaded guilty to hindering prosecution and abuse of a corpse. Matthew Fox and Ashley Greenhill have both been denied parole. They will have to serve out the remainder of their sentences, which are set to end in 2015. A third person involved, Laurel Pruett, has not been up for parole.

Billy Leeth said he is pleased with the board's decision. He feels those involved should serve their time for what they did to his daughter. However, he acknowledged the crime has hurt more people than just his family. He said the families of those involved are victims as well.

"We just want to see justice carried out. Unfortunately there's many victims in this case. But a wrong is a wrong, and people have to answer for the actions that they do," Leeth said.

A Colbert County jury convicted Ronald Weems of murder this spring. He is currently serving a life sentence.
