Trent Richardson traded to the Colts

In a stunning trade Wednesday, former Alabama running back Trent Richardson has been traded from the Cleveland Browns to the Indianapolis Colts for a 2014 first round draft pick.

The Browns are parting ways with the second year running back after selecting him 3rd overall just two seasons ago in the NFL Draft. Richardson rushed for 950 yards and 11 touchdowns his rookie year, and through two games this season has rushed for 105 yards on 32 carries.

The Indianapolis Colts now have the first (QB Andrew Luck)and third round pick (Richardson) in their franchise.
