MONTGOMERY, AL (WAFF) -

Just months after being sentenced to ten years in prison, one of the three people accused of helping a Shoals man cover up a murder will find out if he will be getting out of prison early.

Matthew Fox will go before the state parole board in Montgomery on Wednesday, a month after Ashley Greenhill, who also pleaded guilty to the charges, went before the parole board and was denied.

Fox, Greenhill, and Laurel Pruett all testified against Ronald Weems, who killed Amanda Taylor in Colbert County two years ago. Weems is serving a life sentence, and a judge denied his request for a new trial in August.

There is no word yet on the parole board decision for Fox, but WAFF 48 News will keep you updated.
