HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Keeping you healthy, that's the goal of this year's health and wellness program at Alabama A&M.

Organizers announced what the annual event has to offer this year at A&M's Health and Wellness Center today.

It is expected to kick off with a walk for hundreds to hit the pavement for health.

The event will also offer 28 kinds of health screenings, free yoga, Zumba, free haircuts and of course free food.

This year, A&M is teaming up with The Greater Huntsville Chapter of 100 Black Men, Asha Kiran and The North Alabama Coalition for the Homeless.

"Health is something that impacts everyone whether you are homeless, you are a different ethnicity and different age groups. This is an opportunity for us to bring all those folks together in one venue and make a difference," said A&M Wellness Center Director Daniel Kasambria.

The event kicks off September 21, 2013 at Alabama A&M's Health and Wellness Center.

The walk starts at 8 a.m. Followed by the health fair at 10 a.m.
