Huntsville high school students check out college and career options

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville students packed the gym at UAH to check out colleges and career options Thursday as part of the city school system's College and Career Connection Week.

Noah Allen, a Lee High senior, is a return visitor; he came last year as a junior. He said the fair has allowed him to get a head start on his future.

"When I went to them, figured out all the options, figured out all the requirements, figured out what you need to be this, it really pumped me up, my senior year, to raise all these classes and get all these classes done so I could be prepared for college," he said.

The city high schools are focusing on college and career connections all week.
