Storms cause damage across North Alabama

NORTH ALABAMA (WAFF) -

Storms early Monday morning caused damage across parts of North Alabama.

According to EMA officials, around 3:30 a.m. trees were knocked down onto two homes. Two businesses also experienced roof damage.

Officials said the damage happened near the intersection of Gunter Avenue and Siebold Street.

Storms also caused damage and power outages in Madison County. Mayo Road in New Hope was washed out by flood waters.
