SECTION, AL (WAFF) -

A community is in mourning over the loss of two young lives in Friday night's wreck in DeKalb County.

Dozens of people turned out at the Section High School football field Monday to honor the memory of Jordan Hooper and Kymber McBride and support Brady Carson.

The two died after their truck ran off Carter Road in Rainsville and struck a tree. Carson was injured and released from the hospital Sunday. He was also at Monday's ceremony.

"I want everyone to remember Kymber McBride as a very outgoing person," said a friend Dez'ree Hicks. "She always had a smile on her face, always."

Visitation for McBride was held Monday night at Section Funeral Home. Her funeral is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral arrangements for Hooper have yet to be finalized.
