2 teens killed after Rainsville wreck

RAINSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Two teenagers died following a single vehicle wreck Friday evening.

Rainsville Police and State Troopers are investigating the crash, which happened on Carter Street in Rainsville around 8:20 p.m.

Three victims were involved in the wreck. One victim, Jordan Cole Hooper, was pronounced dead at the scene by DeKalb County Coroner Tom Wilson.

The other two victims were taken to DeKalb Regional Hospital and then transported to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. Kymber McBride passed away later at Erlanger Hospital. Friends report he third victim, Brady Carson, is recovering at home.

The victims were from the town of Section and attended Section High School. The investigation is ongoing.
