Good Wednesday evening and Happy Hump Day!
Here's a look at the stories we're hard at work covering for you here in the WAFF 48 newsroom for our 10 o'clock newscast.
We're digging deeper into a federal program designed for healthier lunches for our children at school. WAFF 48's Diana Crawford is digging deeper into why more and more school systems are dropping out of this program after only one year.
We're also continuing to follow the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King's historic "I Have A Dream" speech in Washington, D.C. WAFF 48's Shumuriel Ratliff spoke with a retired Oakwood University professor who was there for that speech back in 1963.
And in my weekly Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers report, we'll show you a woman Huntsville Police need your help identifying. She's seen on surveillance video using a stolen credit card to buy merchandise at a local store, then illegally filling up her gas tank after her shopping spree. There's up to a thousand dollars in reward money waiting for you if you can identify her.
We'll see you on WAFF 48 News at Ten.
