Burn ban ordered for Miller Co., AR

MILLER CO, AR (KSLA) -

A burn ban has been ordered for Miller County, Arkansas due to extremely dry weather conditions.

Miller County Judge Larry Burgess issued the order Tuesday morning.

Under the order, open outside burning is not allowed. The order will remain in effect until there is a change in weather conditions.

Miller County becomes the first in southwest Arkansas this summer to have a burn ban ordered.
