State Agriculture Dept. to collect old pesticides

The Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries will collect agricultural pesticides Wednesday morning at the Tennessee Valley Research and Extension Center in Belle Mina.

Farmers can bring their used or unwanted pesticides to the center from 8 a.m. to noon and they will be disposed of at no charge. Participating farmers will remain anonymous. The center is at 9494 Experimental Loop Road.
