DEKALB COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Authorities arrested two people after a drug bust in DeKalb County, Sheriff Jimmy Harris said Monday.

After executing a warrant on Highway 68 on Lookout Mountain, agents discovered more than five pounds of marijuana compressed into bricks, two pistols, four long guns, and drug paraphernalia.

Ruben Alevedo Rodrigeus, 28 of Collinsville, and Preston Harold Evans Jr., 47 of Sand Rock, were arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Rodrigeus and Evans were taken to the DeKalb County Detention Center and are awaiting bond.

According to the Sheriff's Office, more arrests are expected in this case.
