Trial date set for alleged cemetery vandal

LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

The trial of a man accused of destroying nearly 100 tombstones last year in a Limestone County cemetery will stand trial this week.

Robert Allen Muse is set to stand trial Monday on three counts of criminal mischief. Police said Muse destroyed nearly 100 tombstones last November in Hatchett Cemetery in Tanner. 

According to police, Muse allegedly vandalized the cemetery two other times before security cameras recorded a person damaging tombstones.
