Truck crashes into two Huntsville businesses

Good Morning!

Here's what we're working on in the WAFF Newsroom...

First, two Huntsville business owners will have to clean up damage after a truck crashed into them. Just after midnight, officers found the truck crashed into the Alabama Hearing Center and Discount Tobacco Outlet on South Parkway just south of Byrd Springs Road. We'll have video from the scene beginning at 5AM.

Also, We're tracking a developing challenge to Alabama's Accountability Act. The Southern Poverty Law Center filed a Federal lawsuit stating the law violates the U.S. Constitution. This is the law that awards parents a tax break if they transfer their child from a failing school to a non-failing school.

This morning WAFF reporter Christine Pae will show you what the lawsuit means for Valley families.

And it's a wet start as kids head back to school for the second day. Meteorologist Jeff Castle will have your Bus Stop forecast all morning long.

Stop in and join us before heading out for your day.
