Man sentenced for convenience store armed robbery

GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A judge sentenced a Guntersville man to 20 years in prison for robbing a convenience store.

Michael Havis' sentence is split, provided he serve five years in the state prison system.

Havis robbed the Chevron station in Guntersville in May of 2012.

Brenton Jeffrey, of Gadsden, and Michael Schuch, of Union Grove, were also charged in that robbery.
