Authorities are investigating the death of a man found on the railroad tracks. Authorities are investigating the death of a man found on the railroad tracks.
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police said a man was killed late Saturday night while standing on train tracks.

Police responded to an initial call of a wreck with fatality shortly before 10 p.m. They found the body of a man who, according to the train conductor, was standing on the tracks near the 2100 block of Jackson Street.

The identity of the man is unknown. His body will be sent for forensic examination.

Police are continuing to investigate this death.
