MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

The suspect in a murder case that dates back to September of 2011 is now convicted of the crime.

Chandler Boone, originally charged with attempted murder two years ago, is now convicted of the murder of 21-year-old Jaderico Langford of Capitol Parkway Court.

The murder case stemmed from an investigation in the double homicide of Langford and 18-year-old Deswana Gregory of South Smiley Circle.

Prosecutors say Boone chased Langford down the street, stood over him and shot him execution style.

Boone's sentencing is set for September 4. He faces a sentence from 20 years to life in prison.

The murder case of Gregory still remains unsolved and no suspect/s have been named.

Langford and Gregory were Montgomery's 24th and 25th homicide victims of 2011.
