NTSB Still Investigating Yesterday's Cargo Plane Crash

This morning, the NTSB is still investigating yesterday's cargo plane crash near the Birmingham airport. Http://bit.ly/13muNf2 Today, they'll try again to recover the flight data recorders. WAFF 48's Lauren Morrison is checking with them to find out what else they're doing this morning. Look for her live reports at the top of the 5:00 and 6:00 a.m. half hours.

We've also confirmed the name of the second pilot who died in the crash. Http://bit.ly/1cPspka He's Cerea Beal, Jr. From Matthews, North Carolina. The other pilot who died was Shanda Fanning, who has ties to nearby Lynchburg, Tennessee. Christine Pae has more on a tribute to her, including what the Moore County sheriff remembers most about her.
