MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Marshall County is beefing up its security forces at school.

The Marshall County school system, legislative delegation, and county commission have all agreed to equally divide $96,000 to hire four additional school resource officers.

This will bring the total up to nine, enough to cover all eight campuses that house 15 schools in the county system.

Superintendent Tim Nabors said they will be added to the system this year.
