ST. CLAIR COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - Prison officials say an already convicted murderer is behind the killing of a convict in an Alabama prison.
Sunday night, workers found 43-year-old Jammy Bell stabbed to death in a dormitory at the Saint Clair Correctional Facility.
Bell was serving a 35 year sentence for burglary, assault and receiving stolen property.
Guards found two homemade knives at the scene.
Larry Evans Lowe is being named as the primary suspect in the killing. He's serving a 25 year sentence for a murder in Jefferson County.
