Shooting suspect re-arrested for chemical endangerment

MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A Woodville woman was arrested Tuesday and charged with chemical endangerment of a child after she delivered a stillborn child.

Investigators said 29-year-old Jody Lemley tested positive for drugs at the time of the birth. The child was taken to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy.

Lemley was booked into the Marshall County Jail on a $2.5 million bond. Her bond was set so high because she was out of jail, awaiting trial for a 2011 shooting.

Investigators said Lemley shot her ex boyfriend, his girlfriend and another person at a home on Conner Island Parkway just outside Guntersville in June, 2011.

Lemley is due in court on the attempted murder charges on August 13.
