2 hurt in Guntersville wreck; A-Rod suspension possible

The weekend always seems to fly by and it's Monday morning before you know it!

This morning, Christine Pae (twitter: @ChristinePae) is working to get information about 2 people hurt in an overnight crash. It happened around 11:30 on Highway 227 just north of Guntersville State Park. She'll have live reports all morning long, starting at 5AM.

We have new details this morning about a weekend wreck in Toney that killed a toddler. The Madison County coroner has released the child's name. We'll have the latest at 5:03.

And some American embassies and consulates will remain closed today and stayed closed through the rest of the week in response to a threat by Al-Qeada. The government says they don't know of any specific terror plots, but is calling the threat serious and credible. Where those embassies and consulates are located at 6:04.

I think the big story of the day is going to be the possible suspension of Alex Rodriguez. If you haven't been keeping up with the story, the baseball star is accused of taking performance enhancing drugs. Most people are speculating that the league will suspend him for the rest of the season, putting his career, and his 275 million dollar contract, in jeopardy.
