Decatur Police arrested a man on a murder charge after he allegedly shot another man over a game of dominoes early Friday morning.

Officers responded to a shooting call at 614 4th Avenue SW around 2 a.m. They found Thomas Bibb lying on the stairs in front of the house, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Bibb, an acquaintance of the suspect, Sterling Gerome Warren, was taken to Decatur General Hospital where he died of his injuries.

Investigators said Warren shot Bibb over a game of dominoes. Bibb was unarmed at the time of the shooting.
