MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - Three people now face capital murder charges for the death of a Morgan County man.
Investigators said Dewayne Oneal Hicks turned himself in to Decatur Police on Wednesday.
Hicks faces capital murder charges for the June 18th death of James Patrick Travers II. This comes after U.S. Marshals arrested Ryan Caudle Monday in Detroit. Caudle is still awaiting extradition to Alabama.
And capital murder charges were also filed against Charles Makekau. He was already in jail on perjury charges.
Police said Caudle and Oneal went to Travers' home last month with the intent to rob him. Travers was shot and killed while trying to get away.
Police said Caudle and Oneal got information from Makekau to help with the robbery.
