HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

There's nothing wrong with expressing your artistic talents, unless you're doing it by defacing public property.

And that's the case for two young crooks who have "painted themselves into a corner," leaving behind paint and surveillance pictures.

Picasso and Monet they are not.

But with spray paint cans in hand, these two created their own illegal "works of art" at the Huntsville City parking garage on Madison Street July 23.

They painted everything from the walls, elevator doors – even a sign for the visitor center.

City workers have been able to paint over the problem areas.

But obviously it's one of those crimes that just makes you want to scratch your head and ask, "Why?"

There's no easy answer for that.

But you can answer one question: Who are these two?

They appear to be two young men, one with a cap and a beard, the other wearing a striped shirt.

These guys obviously need to find another hobby – after they pay for this crime.

If you know who they are, please make the anonymous phone call to 256-53-CRIME (27463).

Or you can text or e-mail your anonymous tips. To do that, click Crime Stoppers at the top of our homepage, then go to the Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers link.

There's a reward of up to a thousand dollars.
