A Cleveland Heights mother has now been indicted on seven charges for the death of her baby girl.

A Cuyahoga County grand jury has just indicted Kareema Cooper. The charges include murder, involuntary manslaughter, reckless homicide, endangering children, felony assault and domestic violence.

Investigators say Cooper killed her 6-week-old daughter, Kamaya, in March.

Medical Examiner Dr. Gilson ruled Kamaya died from a lethal level of an antihistamine - a common medicine for allergies or colds.

As the investigation came to light, the mother told 19 Action News how much she loved her child and would never do anything to harm her.
