A couple of weeks ago it looked like Huntsville was not going to get their fair share of funds for road and bridge repairs. Well, how quickly things can change. Roads and bridges across Alabama can expect to see more renovations as an additional $372 million in funding was announced last week that will benefit 45 counties. The Alabama Transportation Rehabilitation and Improvement Program had already approved 693 road and bridge improvement projects across the state. Last week's additional funding announcement will increase that number by funding additional projects in 45 counties. It's nice to see Madison county at the top of the list with $50 Million being put into road improvements . When companies look for places to build and expand and hire more people, they look for places that have good roads and bridges. Our roads and bridges will be much safer thanks to this program, and our communities will be in a better position to recruit more jobs. I'm Vanessa Oubre That's My Take What's Yours?
