RUSSELLVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A smash-and-grab at a Franklin County liquor store was caught on tape, and police are hoping someone can help them identify the crook in the video.

Investigators say a man broke through the front door of the Russ Package Store in Russellville and smashed a glass display window, all for two bottles of vodka.

In the surveillance video, you can see the man wearing a backpack ride up on a bicycle. He stops at the side of the building, spends several minutes casing the store, looking around and even inside the windows.

He then throws a rock against the front doors, enters the store, and heads straight to the glass display case where he smashes it open, loads two big Skull Vodka bottles into his bag, and then takes off.

If you recognize the man in the video or know where he may be, you are asked to call the Russellville Police Department immediately.
