The Red Cross is partnering with the Etowah County Sheriff's Office to hold a blood drive.
Donors can visit the multipurpose room at the sheriff's office, located at 827 Forrest Avenue, Gadsden, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, July 29.
Earlier this month, the Red Cross made a plea for donations after they hit a 15-year low. Some blood donation centers, like LiveSouth, are even offering incentives to donate.
If you are unable to donate at the sheriff's office drive, you may call 1-800-733-2767 or go online to redcrossblood.org to make a blood donation appointment.
