LEIGHTON, AL (WAFF) -

A flash flood warning is in effect for Marshall, DeKalb and Franklin Counties.

Boaz Police confirm flooding on Highway 205 approaching the Etowah County line.

In Franklin County, flooding has been reported on South Jackson, Lawrence, South Washington, Adams, and Coffee Streets in Russellville. One business reported water coming in, and power is out in much of Russellville.

Storms moving through the Shoals left damage behind Tuesday morning.

A tree took down some power lines on New High School Street.

Power is out in the surrounding area while crews clean up the mess. Tree and debris fell mostly in the street.

Leighton Fire and Police departments are on the scene, as well as Colbert County deputies.
