Posted: Updated:
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police responded to a call saying a train had hit someone in North Huntsville Monday night.

Officials on the scene where the train stopped said they were looking for possible "patients" that may have been near the tracks at the time the train was going by.

The train stopped at Lee High Drive near Oakwood Avenue around 9:30 p.m. The train has since moved on, and traffic isn't a problem anymore.

Authorities said they found two uninjured people. Police haven't reported a victim yet.
