            Sylacauga's Shakayla Thomas was 6-of-9 from the field and 7-of-8 at the foul line. She also had five rebounds to earn North team MVP honors. The win gives the North a commanding 15-2 edge in the series that began in 1997.
            Alexis Jennings of Sparkman chipped in 10 points and three steals. Destiney Elliott of Oneonta added eight points and a game-high seven rebounds and Morgan William of Shades Valley had nine points and four assists. Leah Strain of Woodland was 2-of-2 on 3-point goals for six points and handed out three assists.
            South MVP Kamerian Williams of Opelika had 10 points and a team-high four rebounds.
Keyuana Thompson of Carver-Montgmery and Whytney Singleton of Blount had four points each.
            The North, which out-rebounded the South 44-26 and shot 50.9 percent from the floor for the game, was coached by Amber Deline of Oneonta and Jason Shields of Hokes Bluff. Administrative coach was Brant Llewellyn of Lauderdale County. South coaches were Ashley Kilcrease of Brantley and Yvonne Simmons of Carver-Montgomery. Nigel Card of St. James served as administrative coach.
