COLBERT COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Another Alabama demonstration over the verdict in a Florida murder trial has been cleared to take place by Tuscumbia officials.

A group in Tuscumbia has planned a peaceful demonstration over George Zimmerman's acquittal. Organizers are hoping their event will unite people of all backgrounds in the Shoals.

Brittany and Kawon Decatur have asked city leaders in Tuscumbia to hold a march in memory of Trayvon Martin. The couple said they want members of the community to come together to show their support for the Martin family, like other cities have done across the country.

The Decaturs feel justice was not served in this case.

"If something were to ever happen like this in our town I hope everyone in our town could stand up for what happened. If it were to happen here I hope we could all pull together as a community and do what's right," said Brittany Decatur.

The march will be held Friday from 2-7 p.m. at Spring Park.
