LAUDERDALE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the fatal fire that killed a Lauderdale County family earlier this year.

The bodies of Sandy and Bobby Brewer were found inside the burned home on County Road 81 in the Central Heights community on March 14. Their nephew, Bradley Adams, died from soot and smoke inhalation.

At first look, the fire appeared to be an accident, but fire officials said after further investigation they found new evidence inside the home leading them to suspect arson.

Investigators said they found traces of an accelerant inside the home, which is a type of substance used to intensify or speed up a fire.

The family is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to a conviction in the case. Anyone with information should call local authorities.
