Decatur man charged with credit card fraud

DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Decatur police reported that a man was arrested Saturday for credit card fraud and other misdemeanors.

Lawrence County Sheriff's Department received a report that a Trinity home was burglarized. The victim's credit cards were stolen. These credit cards were used in Decatur at O'Reilly's Auto Parts and Upper Cuts Styling Salon.

The suspect, Christopher Lee Suszylo, 24, was arrested by Decatur police on two felony charges of credit card fraud after U.S. Marshalls located him in Michigan and transferred him back to Alabama.

Suszylo was charged with two counts of credit card fraud along with misdemeanors. After these latter charges are satisfied, Suszylo will be transferred to Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

    A ground search ensued that lasted about four hours and covered approximately six miles, ending a few hundred yards east of Hays Mill Road where the suspects were caught in a hunting stand/shoot house.
