DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Decatur Police arrested a convenience store clerk for selling alcohol to a minor Thursday.

Police said they and Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control had received numerous complaints from concerned parents about alcohol being sold to minors at the USA Gas Station on Beltline Road in Decatur.

Under the supervision of police and ABC agents, a 19-year-old was sent into the store Thursday and successfully made a purchase of an alcoholic beverage.

The attendant that sold the alcohol to the undercover teen, Bryan Robinson, was arrested and charged with sale of an alcoholic beverage to a minor. Robinson was taken to the Decatur City Jail and held on a $500 bond.

Further action by ABC against the store is pending.
