More indecent exposure victims come forward, Sequestration impact, Child abuse in Shoals

Good Thursday evening. Here's a look at a few of the stories we're working on for WAFF 48 News at 10.

We've been on top of a Florence arrest all day long. WAFF 48's Shumuriel Ratliff will have more on the arrest of Reginald Swopes, Jr., who was arrested in a parking lot after allegedly exposing himself to a woman who was meeting him for a Craigslist transaction. Since word of his arrest has been publicized, more women are coming forward with similar accusations.

We've been telling you about the impact of sequestration on Redstone Arsenal for weeks now. A number of federal employees are having to take furloughs because of budget cuts. But in a special investigation, WAFF 48's Charles Molineaux goes behind the gates of the arsenal to uncover several other impacts these budget cuts are having. You'll see, it's also affecting things like security, emergency services, even lawn maintenance.

And more fallout from the Shoals mother who was arrested for leaving her 1-year old child strapped in a car seat in her closet. 22-year old Ashley Coker faces a number of charges, including torture-willful abuse of a child as well as drug charges.

Be sure and join us for these stories and more on WAFF 48 News at 10.
