Here's what we're working on today in the WAFF Newsroom:
As the sun comes up we're beginning to see the remnants of overnight storms. Several flooded roads were shut down last night, but all of them are back open.
The storms also brought down trees, and firefighters say the storm may have caused a fire at a Huntsville restaurant. They say it's possible lightning may have hit Shogun on University Drive.
Stay with us this morning for updates on road conditions, and Meteorologist Jeff Castle's forecast.
Also this morning, we'll be keeping a close eye on Gate 9E, and other gates at Redstone Arsenal to see if traffic will be backed up as much as it was yesterday. The Garrison's Commander told us we will probably see more of these delays because of sequestration budget cuts.http://bit.ly/12sYggs
WAFF 48's Lauren Morrison will be live there all morning long with traffic updates.
Stop in and join us before heading out for your day.
