Police break up meth trafficking organization

MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Agents arrested four people after a long term investigation into an organization that was distributing meth in the Madison County area.

Authorities said the group was basing their operation out of the Federal Square Inn on Madison Boulevard in Madison.  

Douglas Kyle Paseur, 26 of New Hope, was charged with trafficking meth, manufacturing a controlled substance, attempting to flee or elude, and resisting Arrest.  His bond was set at $351,000.

Samuel Ray Lanier Jr., 31 of New Hope, was charged with trafficking meth.  Lanier's bond was set at $25,000.

Stacie Lynn Brackin, 25 of Huntsville, was charged with trafficking meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Her bond was set at $25,500.

 The General Manager of the Federal Square Inn was also arrested in connection with the organization. David Abram Paden, 36 of Madison, was charged with conspiracy to commit a controlled substance crime and obstructing a governmental operation.  Paden's bond was set at $41,000.

During the arrests, agents also discovered more than four ounces of meth and an active meth lab.
