HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville police arrested three men in connection with another robbery that happened overnight.

Officers responded to a robbery in the 4400 Block of Bonnell Drive around 1 a.m Monday. The victim told them three armed men forced their way into his home and demanded property. Officers said the robbers stole two broken cell phones and ran away.

Police arrested Johnathan Ladelle Ragland, 22, Walter Sales, 26, and Jeff Melbert IV, 28, all of Huntsville. More charges may be pending against Ragland, Sales and Melbert. They may also be suspects in other burglaries in the Bonnell Drive area. The investigation is still ongoing concerning how many burglaries they have been involved with.

Two men also broke into a house in North Huntsville around 3 a.m. Monday morning.

The resident of the Lyngail Drive home heard someone coming through the back door, armed himself, and went to check it out. Two men had entered his house. When the burglars saw him, one of them fired at him, and then they both ran away.

The police are treating this as a burglary, not a home invasion. No one was hurt, but the police are still looking for the suspects. One of the burglars was wearing all black clothing with white letters. Officers said he also had a mask over his face.

Police are also looking into a burglary in the 2400 Block of Shepherd Drive that happened around 11 p.m Sunday. The victim said someone kicked in the back door of her home. She yelled at the robbers, and they ran away.

No one was hurt in either of these incidents.

If you have any information about what happened in any of these incidents, call Huntsville Police immediately.
