Investigating near-drowning in Arab; After president is removed, Valley family from Egypt reacts

Good Wednesday evening,

We're following a story that's all too common this time of year. We're digging deeper into a near-drowning in Arab. A 2-year-old was saved by his 8-year-old brother. A neighbor, who's a nurse, also helped in this dramatic, life-saving incident. WAFF 48's Diana Crawford will have more on this incident, as well as tips from experts on how to avoid becoming a drowning victim this summer.

We're also continuing to follow the unrest in Egypt. WAFF 48's Charles Molineaux has tracked down a North Alabama family with ties to Egypt to get their reaction to the military's overthrow of Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi.

And in our Huntsville area Crime Stoppers report,  you'll see a thief stealing expensive bottles of perfume from a Huntsville business. With the great surveillance video of the crime, there's sure to be a "sour" ending to this sweet-smelling crime.

We hope you'll join us for these stories, as well as the latest on your holiday weekend forecast, on WAFF 48 News at 10.

We'll see you then,
