A fire in Limestone County claimed the lives of a man's dogs Tuesday morning, but the man got out with the help of a gun.
Alabama State Troopers are working to determine the cause of a single-vehicle crash that killed a Hayneville man Wednesday morning.
Enoch Whatley, 55, was killed when the 1991 Acura Integra that he was driving left the roadway and overturned into a pond.
The crash happened around 4 a.m. on Mary Jackson Road, approximately 3 miles south of Whitehall.
Whatley was not wearing a seat belt.
Nothing further is available as State Troopers continue to investigate.
