Decatur police officers found meth and meth manufacturing equipment in the back of a truck on Monday.

The vehicle had crossed the center line of Modaus Road several times, prompting the officers to stop the car. The driver was Cameron Ernest McGee, and the passenger was Helen Ann Wallace.

During the investigation, an officer deployed his K-9, "Bear," to sniff out the vehicle. The K-9 detected narcotics, and after searching the vehicle, the officers uncovered meth and drug paraphernalia.

A police officer opened the tailgate and bed cover of the truck and found items used to manufacture meth.

McGee was charged with the manufacturing and possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a driving violation. Wallace was charged with the manufacturing of meth.

McGee and Wallace will be transferred to Morgan County Jail. McGee's bail is set at $8,500, and Wallace's bail is set at $5,000.
