It's a busy Thursday morning in the WAFF Newsroom. Here's what we're working on today...
A lot of you will wake up to rain this morning and will want to know what to expect for the rest of the day. Meteorologist Lauren Jones will have your forecast every ten minutes this morning, including the weekend outlook.
WAFF reporter, Christine Pae, is headed to a deadly train accident. Huntsville Police tell us a train hit and killed a pedestrian around 2:30 this morning on Robin Hood Lane at Old Madison Pike. Investigators are still at the scene, and Christine will be live there all morning long. http://bit.ly/10XX8XS
And finally, at 5&6AM, we'll have a story that college students, parents, and future students will want to watch. College students will soon pay more for their loans, if Congress doesn't come to an agreement to keep the interest rates from doubling. The increase is expected to happen Monday unless an agreement is made.
