(RNN) - As Food Network, Smithfield, Caesar's and Walmart bail on Paula Deen, fans and defenders of the celebrity chef have put their money where their mouth is, buying her cookbooks in droves and quietly pushing them up the Amazon charts.

Paula Deen's New Testament sits at No. 6 on Amazon. It's the No. 1 cookbook across Amazon. And it's not even out until Oct. 15.

Her publisher has not dropped her, but has said they are "monitoring" the situation.

It's not just her upcoming release seeing a bounce.

On Monday, Paula Deen's Southern Cooking Bible sat as the No. 701 best-selling book on Amazon.

By Wednesday, it ranked No. 48 and climbing.

While all her books have seen increased sales, the Southern Cooking Bible has seen the most dramatic climb of her currently released books.

The book hit No. 1 on the New York Times Best Seller list after its release in 2011. It looks poised to crack the charts again, nearly two years after it initially hit store shelves.

Paula Deen has released 14 cookbooks, including Paula Deen and Friends: Living it Up, Paula Deen's The Deen Family Cookbook and Christmas with Paula Deen.
